Testing must be done by competent people, following the relevant standard and the manufacturer's instructions. Our testers measure the load applied; they don't certify an anchor, fixing or installation.
At a glance
| Eyebolts | t25 (25 kN) or t60 (60 kN) with the clevis |
| Petzl Coeur anchors | Dedicated clevis (600-084) |
| Between anchor posts | In-line kit with a t25 load cell, to 25 kN |
| Standards named in the brochures | BS 7883, BS 8539; in-line: BS 7883:2019 Annex D and E |
Which kit tests safety eyebolts?
A t25 or t60 with the clevis, which is in every kit. Its captive pin prevents loss and makes engaging the eyebolt faster.
What about Petzl Coeur anchors?
Use the clevis for Petzl Coeur, which connects to the standard t25 or t60 drop rod.
How do I test between two anchor points?
The in-line kit fits between two anchorage points and measures force up to 25 kN with your t25 load cell: between fall protection anchor posts, at overhead lifting points and on rail systems.
What about awkward positions?
The t25's moulding gives a positive grip in all testing orientations. The 3 leg adaptor, 100 mm leg extensions and spreader plates help on uneven surfaces, walls and roofs, and tool tethers keep the tester and spanner safe at height.
